Here are some exercise Do’s & Don’ts:
Do’s:
- Gym exercises performed respecting the correct lumbar curve.
- Walk, swim and cycle with correct postures.
- Jump from one foot to the other on a mini trampoline.
- Listen to your body – pain is a warning signal. Stop or adapt.
- Rest when needed
Don’ts:
1. Avoid rounding, bending and twisting exercises which reverse the lumbar curve.

- No toe-touching or twisting movements.
- Do not repeat movements too much or perform them with force.
- No sit-ups or lying on the back and raising both legs without bending them.
