Here are some exercise Do’s & Don’ts:

Do’s:

  1. Gym exercises performed respecting the correct lumbar curve.
  2. Walk, swim and cycle with correct postures.
  3. Jump from one foot to the other on a mini trampoline.
  4. Listen to your body – pain is a warning signal. Stop or adapt.
  5. Rest when needed

Don’ts:

1. Avoid rounding, bending and twisting exercises which reverse the lumbar curve.

  2. No toe-touching or twisting movements.
  3. Do not repeat movements too much or perform them with force.
  4. No sit-ups or lying on the back and raising both legs without bending them.
